Call for Art
The Northwest Wood Firing Conference will host two national, juried exhibitions of wood fired works, Landscapes, curated by Chris Pate, and Wood Fired Platters, Juried by Chris Gustin.
Submissions for both are due March 31, 2020. Accepted artists will be notified by April 15, 2020, and works will be installed May 4, 2020.
The Northwest Wood Firing Conference invites exhibitors to participate in the 5,200 sq ft Exhibition Hall at the Chehalem Cultural Center. There are two offerings: tables and booths. Registration takes place in the same portal as conference registration. Table and booth registrations are not refundable, but they are transferrable. Registration is open until full or May 15, 2020 whichever is sooner.
Table: Artists, Educators, Organizations
Includes 6' table and 3 day conference pass. Artists, residencies, kiln communities, schools, and galleries welcome. Art sales may be conducted, but at least 50% of the space must be devoted to education about your kiln, process, place, or work. You may use your table as a "base of operations" and leave it unattended for any amount of time throughout the conference. Light (volunteer) security will be provided. Some table holders will be offering "office hours" during the conference to sell pots, sign books, etc.
Table registration cost is $150.
Vendor pass for retailers of materials, supplies, equipment, and business services. 10x10 space. Includes 3x, 3-day conference passes.
Booth registration cost is $375.
